Every October artist all over participate in a fun, month long project called “Inktober”. There’s an official list that many work from.. and LOADS of “unofficial” prompts and alternate projects that are also used as inspiration for the month.
This year I decided to create my own version of the art challenge: “Stixtober”. Each day for the month of October I used a stick dipped in ink to draw florals (or sometimes other plant life). I had loads of fun and shared the process for each piece on Instagram and YouTube.
Each piece is on a 4”x 6” watercolor postcard and is one of a kind.
